Last year, I had to hunt for a Halloween costume when the preschool in China announced that they would be celebrating this dress-up event
My boy was only 3 then, sweats a lot and didn’t fancy anything over his head. Also, there were limited characters he was familiar with since he’s a HUGE Thomas [...]

After the success of reading Margaret Wise Brown’s “Goodnight Moon” I was happy to find “Two Little Trains” written by the same author for my No. 1 Thomas the Tank Engine fan.
My toddler was delighted to see that the first few pages had the illustration of a present, which contained a wooden toy train. He [...]

“The Cat in the Hat” and “The Cat in the Hat Comes Back” were two of the books I’d lined up in our home library. Recently, my toddler asked me to read “The Cat in the Hat”.

The book [...]

It’s the perfect book to start off little girls on Enid Blyton’s collection as Betsy May is around 5-6 years old and this book contains 20 stories about her adventures.
I loved reading [...]

I bought this book for my little sister years ago for Christmas and only got to read it myself recently. “The Bear Nobody Wanted” is about an arrogant teddy bear who thought he was much, much better than all the other toys at the factory.
He’s so proud of himself that he wouldn’t talk to the [...]

Now that my son can “read” picture books with single words on his own, sing a few nursery rhymes and also enjoys listening to stories, I am introducing story books. Browsing around Borders, I was happy to find “The Big Pancake” by Ladybird.
This classic story under the “Ladybird tales” collection is about a mother who [...]
