“The Cat in the Hat” and “The Cat in the Hat Comes Back” were two of the books I’d lined up in our home library. Recently, my toddler asked me to read “The Cat in the Hat”.
“The Cat in the Hat” starts off with a boy and his sister, Sally stuck at home alone on [...]

“What to Expect: Eating Well When You’re Expecting” is the fourth book I have of the “What to Expect” series – you’d think I collect them the way people do for the Harry Potter or Twilight series

I think he was attracted by the brightly illustrated cover (by Katy Bratun) and the three giraffes (or gee-wuffs).
The story of “Sadie’s Sore Throat” begins with little [...]

Lucas picked this book off the library shelf himself and Hubby and I must have read this book at least 3 times a week last month.
“My Race Car” begins with a little boy playing with his race cars in the room and then he imagines himself at a real stock car race. The book [...]

I received this book for review last week and couldn’t wait to dig into what sounded like “Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood” and “Calendar Girls”.
A small town girl myself, I was interested to read about “the town that raised them” as Amy Dickinson goes through a divorce and raised her daughter on [...]
