Since my kid will join the public school system in the near future, I am quite disappointed to find that the Malaysian education system is still focused on ‘quantity’ and not ‘quality’. Gosh, how can anyone score As in 14-15 subjects???
I’d checked out private schools and international schools too but the former still follows the [...]

A row of Tonka books were set in front of the low sofa at the library and this “Big Book of Trucks” with a dump truck in action caught my toddler’s eye immediately!

Before our move to China and because I can’t read/write Chinese, I’ve never visited the Chinese book section. My first encounter with Chinese picture books was a “stunning” one as a gun and a rifle are [...]

When my toddler’s included trucks as well as trains, I knew I needed a book to help me with the vocabulary for this traditionally male territory. Not knowing if I may need to know about other types of transport, I was glad I found this bumper book!
Recommended for ages 9-12, this hardcover 150 page reference contains more than 400 [...]
