REVIEW: Tales of Betsy May by Enid Blyton

tales-of-betsy-may-by-enid-blyton />Tales of Besty May by Enid Blyton is one of my first storybooks when I was about 9 years old (I started reading late).

It’s the perfect book to start off little girls on Enid Blyton’s collection as Betsy May is around 5-6 years old and this book contains 20 stories about her adventures.

I loved reading about Betsy May’s adventures, which start out with her posting a letter all by herself! Although she tries to be good and helpful, she does get into mischief :-)

Betsy May interacts with animals like birds, puppies and her little kitten. She also holds tea parties, attends a birthday party, goes to the beach and gets lovely surprises.

She makes friends with both children and elderly people, discovering the truth behind “do not judge a book by its cover”.

Besides that, she also learns about misunderstandings, honesty, kindness, generosity and becoming an older sister!

Little girls will *absolutely* love this book either to be read to as each individual story is just nice for a bedtime story.

They can also read the book on their own as line drawings showing Betsy May in action are found after every few pages.

What else can I say? Get a copy of it now from your favourite bookstore!
